2.8 External evacuaon system
The pumpdown performance on dry pumping systems ed with mechanical boosters
can be further enhanced by the use of an External Evacuaon System (EES) kit. The EES
kit will only provide performance improvement on pumpdown cycles lasng less than
30 seconds to pressures below 0.1 mbar. The EES kit must only be used on clean
applicaons.
