SIM protocol can be tested over Ethernet using HyperTerminal.
1. Start HyperTerminal.
2. Enter the IP address of the pump in the Host address eld. In the Port number eld
enter the SIM port to be used, either 47591 or 47592. In the Connect using eld,
select TCP/IP (Winsock) as shown.

Set the ASCII sengs to the following from the File/Properes/Sengs menu.

In the HyperTerminal window, type: '?T' and press the ENTER key. If successful, the
user should get a reply with the following format:
