NOZZLE RANK CATEGORIZE
Adjustment procedure
1. Start the Adjustment Program, and select “Nozzle Rank Categorize”.
2. If you press the Execute button, a paper set message is displayed as shown
below.

3. If you press the OK button, the nozzle check pattern is printed, and the
following message is displayed.
4. Check the nozzle check pattern, make sure all nozzles are discharging
properly, and then press the Yes button.

5. The nozzle rank categorization operation is executed, the nozzle check pattern
is printed again, and the message shown in Figure 7-34 is displayed again.
6. Make sure there are no errors in the nozzle check pattern, and the press the
Yes button.
7. The nozzle rank categorization operation execution results are displayed.

This adjustment must be performed when all nozzles are in the
normal discharge state. Therefore before adjustment, make sure all
nozzles are discharging properly.
If nozzles that are not discharging properly are found in the nozzle
check pattern confirmation results, the nozzle rank categorization
operation will not be performed properly. Therefore, press the No
button.
Perform head cleaning, make sure all nozzle are discharging
properly, and then perform the nozzle rank categorization
operation again.
If the nozzle rank categorization operation results are NG, a nozzle
that is not discharging properly may be present. Perform head
cleaning, make sure all nozzle are discharging properly, and then
perform the nozzle rank categorization operation again.
