1 On the home screen, tap the test setup panel.
2 On the CHANGE TEST screen, select a twisted pair test to
change, then tap EDIT.
Or to set up a new twisted pair test, tap NEW TEST. If no module
is installed, the MODULE screen shows. Tap DSX-5000
CableAnalyzer or DSX-8000 CableAnalyzer
.
3 On the TEST SETUP screen, tap Test Limit.
4 On the TEST LIMIT screen, tap MORE, then tap a Limit Group.
For some limit groups, such as TIA and ISO, tap a sub-group to
see the test limits.
Limits with balance measurements added to them show when
you select the +PoE or +All checkbox at the bottom of the
screen. Balance measurements are standard in some limits. These
limits do not have “(+PoE)” or (+All)” after their name.
5 Tap a test limit that has “(+PoE)” or(+All)” after its name, or
one that you know includes the balance measurements you
need, then tap SAVE.
