protective cap. The LED in front of the port turns on when the
port emits an optical signal.

Do not look directly into optical connectors. Some
sources emit invisible radiation that can cause
permanent damage your eyes.

Do not connect APC (angled physical contact)
connectors to the OTDR ports. An APC connector
can damage the UPC fiber endface in the ports.
