You can also tap or to see the trace overlay screen. When
All shows, the screen shows the traces for all wavelengths.
When more than one button shows at the bottom of the
screen, the tester highlights one in yellow to recommend
which one to tap. See “Buttons to Do Tests and Save Results”
on page 61.
The distance scale shows the distance along the fiber.
PASS: All measurements were within the limits.
FAIL: One or more measurements exceeded its limit.
To zoom in and out, use the pinch, reverse-pinch, and double-
tap gestures on the touchscreen. You can also use the zoom
controls to change the magnification on the distance and
decibels scales independently. See Figure 5 on page 24.
How to Quickly Change OTDR Settings After a
Test
After an OTDR test, you can quickly change some OTDR settings
when you want to try different settings on the same fiber. After
you do a test, tap SETUP on the TRACE screen, then select settings
on the MANUAL PON OTDR (Figure 175) or MANUAL OTDR
screen.
You can save your settings to the Active test setup or to a New
test setup, or you can tap TEST to do a test without saving the
settings.
