Note
To isolate faults when the tester shows limited wire
map information, turn off the AC wire map test,
then do tests on the cabling after the PoE device.
Also do a test on the patch cord that connects the
PoE device to the link.

Open
Open on pair 4,5. The open is 17 m
from the tester and 1.8 m from the
remote. The open is on one or both
wires.
Short
Short between pairs 1,2 and 3,6.
The short is 5 m from the remote.
The short is between two, three,
or all four wires.
