The procedure to modify the EC/OPC priority is as follows:
Procedure
1 Click [Modify EC/OPC Priority] in [Action].
2 Select the EC/OPC priority, and click the [Modify] button.
EC/OPC Priority
- Automatic Priority
This mode changes the EC/OPC priority automatically in response to the operating
load status.
- High Priority
This mode operates by making maximum use of internal resources.
This mode greatly affects host access performance, thus should not be used during
normal operation. Use when the operation load is low.
- Low Priority
This is a mode in which the influence on host access is reduced to a minimum.
Select this mode when using EC and/or OPC during operation.
A confirmation screen appears.
Registering the license for the Advanced Copy feature is required to use
EC and OPC.
EC includes both EC and REC.
The REC priority that is specified using the procedure in "8.2.14 Modify
REC Multiplicity" (page 246) is normally used. Note that the specified
EC/OPC priority values are used for REC priority when the connection
method is "Direct".
Refer to "8.2.8 Set Copy Path" (page 217)
for connection type settings.
Refer to "8.2.14 Modify REC Multiplicity" (page 246)
for REC multiplicity
settings.
OPC includes OPC, QuickOPC, SnapOPC, and SnapOPC+.
