8 COMMISSIONING TESTS 8.3 METERING

8.3.5 ANALOG INPUT METERING
For these tests, refer to the figures on page 8–3 for test connections. The expected accuracy is as follows:
Expected Accuracy: ±1.0% of full scale
The relevant actual values displays are shown below:
A2 METERING ÖØ A/I Ö A/I
A2 METERING ÖØ A/I ÖØ A/I (/MIN)
A2 METERING ÖØ A/I ÖØ A/I (/HOUR)
The procedure for testing the Analog Input metering is shown below:
1. Inject steady values of DC current (in mA) of various values into relay terminals A1(+) and A2(–). Verify that the analog
input is correctly measured and displayed in the A/I value.
2. Inject a fixed rate of ramping DC current (in mA) of various values into relay terminals A1(+) and A2(–) for at least 2
minutes. At the end of this time, verify that the analog input is correctly measured and displayed in the A/I (/MIN) value.
3. Inject a fixed rate of ramping DC current (in mA) of various values into relay terminals A1(+) and A2(–) for at least 2
hours. At the end of this time, verify that the analog input is correctly measured and displayed in the A/I (/HOUR) value.
