6 Press [3] key (TOOL1-2 OFFSET ADJ.).
TOOL 1-2 OFFSET ADJ. setting screen is displayed.
7 Press [1] key (TEST PATTERN).
The following message is displayed.

Press ( ) key (CANCEL) to return to Adjust
the space between tools 1 and 2 setting
screen without changing any settings.
Press the [FAST] key and the POSITION key
simultaneously to move the tool carriage
quickly.
8 Press the POSITION (
) keys to move the tool
carriages to the position to cut a test pattern.
Be sure to move it inside of a plotting range greater than 50
mm on both the X and Y axes.
9 Confirm the position of tool, and then press [ENTER] key.
Plot a "+" sign with the pen plunger (tool 1).
Next, plot a "+" sign with the cutter plunger (tool 2).
The settings screen for adjusting the space between tools 1 and 2 will
be displayed after the plotting is completed.
10 Measure how much the "+" cut with the cutter plunger (Tool 2)
is out of alignment with the reference "+" plotted with the pen
plunger (Tool 1). (For example, in the following figure, input
X = +a mm and Y = -b mm, since it's out of alignment in the
negative X-axis and the positive Y-axis)
