2.13.4 Setting RS-232C interface (Simple menu)
When using the RS-232C interface, set the command settings, step size settings (when using GP-GL
commands), origin point settings for HP-GL (when using HP-GL commands), and transfer conditions for the RS-
232C interface.
In Normal menu, set the command settings, step size settings (when using GP-GL commands), origin point
settings for HP-GL (when using HP-GL commands). (

The transfer condition for RS-232C interface can be set from the control panel. The transfer condition should be
set to the same in the software used and in the CE6000-120AP. If there is a mistake in the settings an error may
display in the machine and lack of data can cause a malfunction. In such a case, please conrm the transfer
condition settings again.
Changing and saving the RS-232C interface settings
Operation
1 In default screen, press [PAUSE/MENU] key.
MENU screen is displayed.
2 Press [2] key (I/F).
INTERFACE screen is displayed.
Supplement
Press the POSITION ( ) key (CANCEL) to
return to the INTERFACE setting screen
without changing any settings.
3 Press [2] key (RS-232C).
RS-232C screen is displayed.
Supplement
Baud rate can be set to 19200, 9600, 4800,
2400, 1200, 600, or 300.
4 Press [1] key (BAUD RATE).
