When registration marks are scaned wrongly.
Symptom Cause Solution
Registration marks cannot be scaned
properly. (scan error)
The registration mark lines
are thin.
Set the registration mark lines to 0.3 to
1.0mm.
Registration marks are
scratchy.
Write the registration mark lines more
clearly.
There are smears within the
scanning area.
Remove the smears.
The cutting media is floating. Press down the cutting media.
The color of the cutting
media is not black.
Adjust the cencor level. If this does not
help, use black registration marks.
