Manually Adjusting the Sensor Level (Threshold Value) (When the
SENSING SPEED is set to "ISM")
The sensing level (threshold value between the media background color and registration mark) to detect the
registration mark can also be manually set. The sensor is adjusted to read the registration mark printed with
black lines on a white background as the default condition. The sensing level of the sensor may need to be
adjusted for registration marks printed in color and the finish (gloss/matte) of the media.
The sensing level can be adjusted automatically. Please refer to the "Adjusting the Sensor Level"
P.5-18
