• For IPv6 link-local address configuration, manual assignment takes precedence over automatic
generation. If you first adopt the manual assignment and then the automatic generation, the
automatically generated link-local address will not take effect and the link-local address of the
interface is still the manually assigned one. But if you remove the manually assigned one, the one
automatically generated takes effect.
