Waveform Licensing
4. License the waveform:
a. Press Lock Waveform in Slot.
A warning is displayed: *** Waveform Lock Warning!!! ***. If necessary, verify you
have selected the correct waveform you want for licensing by pressing Return.

b. Press Confirm Locking Waveform.
The licensing status of the slot will be changed to Locked MM/DD/YY.
c. If the waveform has not been previously backed up in internal storage, a warning is
displayed: *** Waveform Backup Required!!! ***.
d. Make a backup copy of this waveform on a USB media or a computer before pressing
Backup Waveform to Int Storage. (If the waveform is lost or deleted on the signal
generator, it cannot be recovered).

It is important that you make a
backup copy of any waveforms that you are
licensing.
Do not store the backup copy on the signal generator. If all copies of
the waveforms are deleted or lost, there is no way to recover the waveform or
reassign the license.

Press this softkey to store the waveform
into the internal storage and to activate the
Confirm Locking Waveform softkey.
The Confirm Locking Waveform
softkey remains inactive until the
waveform is stored in internal storage.
