Front Panel Reference
Hard Keys and Rotary Knob
• TRIGger acquire timer period (Measure Period): 10 ms (this is automatically
extended if the measurement is not completed.)
• Trigger delay (Source Delay = Measure Delay): 0 s
• Trigger output: Disable
Function Keys Six function keys are placed below the LCD. They are assigned to the softkeys,
SPEED, RANGE, Zoom, Clear, Apps, System Menu, and so on. The softkey
assignment depends on the view mode (Meter, Graph, Histogram, or Roll).
Assist Keys Five assist keys are placed right to the LCD. They are assigned to softkeys which
assist you in changing the measurement setup. The softkey assignment depends
on the view mode and the setup field in the EDIT (green) status.
View Switches the softkey assignment for the function keys as follows.
• Softkeys available for the present view mode
• Softkeys for selecting the view mode
The following softkeys are available. Press one for selecting the view mode.
Meter View Displays the Meter view.
Graph View Displays the Graph view.
Histogram View Displays the Histogram view.
Roll View Displays the Roll view.
Cancel / Local Cancels the setup operation if the instrument is in the local status. Returns the
instrument to the local status if it is in the remote status.
Measurement
navigation keys
Changes the measurement speed (SPEED) and measurement range (RANGE)
settings. The following keys are available.
Coarse Res Increases measurement speed (decreases the aperture time).
The setting value is displayed on the SPEED function key.
In the auto aperture mode, changes the aperture time in
“Stable  Normal  Quick” order.
In the manual aperture mode, changes the aperture time in
“100.0 PLC  10.0 PLC  1.0 PLC  0.1 PLC  0.01 PLC 
0.001 PLC” order.
