4. After that, repeats measuring the DUT as many times as is defined by the
Repeat Count with a defined Interval time between measurements. The
measurement data is displayed on the front display after each measurement,
and all measurement data is stored in the trace buffer.
5. After all measurements are completed, turns the applied voltage off (0 V) and
turns the input/output switches off.
The sequential measurement is appropriate for measuring time-related
characteristics, and can perform a repeating measurement with simple setting. It
is useful for volume and sheet resistivity measurements.
To prevent electrical shock, discharge the DUT sufficiently before you touch the
DUT after measurement.
It is useful to set the output-off state to ZERO for discharging before and after
the measurement.
To perform the sequential measurement, do the steps below.
1. Complete the following measurement setup.
• Measurement type (current/charge/voltage/resistance)
• Measurement speed (aperture mode and time)
• Measurement range: FIXED
• Limit test, if necessary
• Handler control, if necessary
2. Press the Apps function key on the Meter view, then press the #3 assist key.
The Sequential Measurement dialog box opens.
3. Set the following parameters in this dialog box.
Source Value Forcing voltage.
Charge Time Wait time after starting the voltage forcing until performing
the 1st measurement.
Interval Interval between measurements.
Repeat Count Repeat count of measurements.
4. Press OK (function key) to start the sequential measurement.
