• Except for preprinted paper, do not reuse paper that has already been printed on. 
Using paper with marks or other traces of staples or clips may cause image defects 
and damage the print head.
• Remove paper with folds or curling. Folds or curling may cause paper jams or 
defective printing due to print head damage.
• Leaving opened paper in a high humidity environment may cause problems due to 
moisture. Remove any paper that remains in the cassettes and store the paper 
sealed in a paper storage bag. Remove any paper that remains in the multipurpose 
tray and store the paper sealed in a paper storage bag.
• If the machine will not be used for a prolonged period of time, protect any 
remaining paper from humidity by removing it from the cassettes and storing it 
sealed in a paper storage bag.
