2 Select [Start] to scan the pattern.
After the pattern is scanned, the number of clogged nozzles of each color is displayed.
After checking the number of clogged nozzles, select [OK].

Display the screen.
[System Menu/Counter] key > [Adjustment/Maintenance] > [Head Cleaning] > [Head
Cleaning]

Select the head to be cleaned > [Start]
The head cleaning begins. While cleaning is in progress, the time remaining until cleaning
finishes appears.
Repeat steps 2 to 6 until the clogged nozzles are cleared.
If several cleaning repetitions does not solve the problem, proceed to the following nozzle
recovery procedure.
The printed position of the arrows in the nozzle check pattern may be in from the edge,
depending on the size of the pattern. Regardless of the position of the arrows, place the
pattern in the upper left corner of the glass platen.
