After activation of this option the rear gate remains open until the cow has
been identified. This means that each cow should have entered the box
completely before the rear gate is closed. If "no" is adjusted, the rear gate
will close as soon as the infrared sensor detects a cow in the box.
In case there is a separation gate available, cows with a failed milking can be
separated and queued behind the robot again.
If the number of successive times that a cow fails exceeds the adjusted
value, she will no longer be separated.
The exit gate will close after a preset number of seconds when the cow is out
of the range of the infrared sensor. A lower default setting (e.g. 0 sec.) will
increase cow traffic (cow may become blocked between gate and box).
A higher default setting (e.g. 5 sec.) can be used for very slow cows.
There are different adjustments possible to have a milking considered as
failed. If 0 is adjusted, time discrepancies will not be taken into account. If 1,
2 or 3 are adjusted, the milking will be failed in case the milking times show
a mutual difference of more than respectively 40%, 50% or 60% (relatively in
respect of the progressive average milking time per cow per teat). The cow
is considered to have failed and will be queued behind the robot again. At the
same time a notification will appear in the report list.
To separate separation milk in a bucket or to dump it in the sewer (colostrum
milk or penicillin milk).
"Yes": penicillin in sewer.
"No": penicillin in bucket. Colostrum milk will always be dumped in a bucket
or thru separation valve.
The milking method of the MQC depends on the setting of the teat cup
removal. Two settings (robot adjustment menu) are possible.
If MQC is fitted, automatic milk separation can take place in case of a
different milk colour and/or high conductivity.
