• Power off the server and peripheral devices and disconnect the power cords and all external cables. See
“Power off the server” on page 68.
• Prevent exposure to static electricity, which might lead to system halt and loss of data, by keeping static-
sensitive components in their static-protective packages until installation, and handling these devices with
an electrostatic-discharge wrist strap or other grounding systems.

Procedure
Step 1. If you need to install a RAID flash power module on the back side of the air baffle, install it first. See
“Install the RAID flash power module on the air baffle” on page 195.
Step 2. Align the clips on the air baffle to the sockets on the cable walls.

Step 3. Lower the air baffle into the chassis and press the air baffle down until it is securely seated.
