3.4 Trouble-shooting during commissioning
With the »Engineer« trouble during commissioning can be detected and eliminated
conveniently. Proceed as follows:
Check whether error messages are displayed in the »Engineer«.
–On the Diagnostics tab, relevant actual states of the controller and pending error
messages are displayed in a well-arranged visualisation.
Check the input terminals for their corresponding setpoints.
–On the Terminal assignment tab, the current input and output signals are displayed.
Check the signal flow of the application.
– For this purpose, click the Signal flow button on the Application parameter tab. The
displayed signal flow shows active setpoints and their further processing.
