9.1 Sensorless vector control (SLVC)
The sensorless (eld-oriented) vector control for asynchronous motors is based on a
dec
oupled control for the torque-producing and the eld-producing current component. In
addion, the actual speed is reconstructed by means of a motor model so that a speed sensor
is not required.
Precondions
The sensorless v
ector control (SLVC) is only suitable for asynchronous motors.
The mul-motor operaon is not permied for sensorless vector control (SLVC).
CAUTION!
Do not operate with hoisng units!
Operaon of the sensorless vector control (SLVC) is not permissible f
or hoisng units!
Do not operate the vector control with hoisng units.
Supported operang modes 0x6060 (P301.00):
"MS: V
elocity mode [-2]"
"MS: Torque mode [-1]"
Details
Compared to the V/f characteriscs, the sensorless vector control (SLVC) serves to achieve
improved drive characteriscs thanks to:
higher torque throughout the enre speed range
higher speed accuracy and smooth running properes
higher eciency

9.1.1 Required commissioning steps
1.
Acvate motor control type: 0x2C00 (P300.00) = "Sensorless v
ector control (SLVC) [4]".
2.
Carry out
opmisaon of the control circuits.
An opmum operaon of this motor control type requires an opmisaon of the
control loops!
Details: 4Opons for opmizing the control loops ^ 175
3.
Oponally for a speed control with torque limitaon in operang mode 0x6060 (P301.00)
= "MS: Velocity mode [-2]":
Select the source in 0x2949:001 (P337.01) for the posive torque limit source and set it
accordingly.
Select the source in 0x2949:002 (P337.02) for the negave torque limit source and set
it accordingly.
4.
Alternavely, the inverter can be congured in this motor control type in such a way that it
controls a motor torque within a dened frequency range. For details, see chapter
"Conguring the torque control". ^ 129
