9.4.1 Automac motor
idencaon (energized)
The automac idencaon of the motor results in the best possible parameter sengs. If
the applicaon enables you to energise the system during the opmizaon, carry out this
opmizaon.
Precondions
The motor must be cold.
All r
ated motor data are known and set in the inverter, either by selecng the motor from
the mot
or catalog or manually. 4Select motor from motor catalog ^ 40 4Manual seng

In 0x2C00 (P300.00), the motor control type required is suitable for the motor selected.
In 0x6060 (P301.00), the operang mode "MS: Velocity mode [-2]" is set.
DC-bus voltage is available.
The inverter is error-free and in the "Ready to switch on" or "Switched on" device state.
The motor is stopped (no start enable).
No inverter disable is acve.
No quick s
top is acve.
No other axis command is acve.
General
informaon on the idencaon
The automac idencaon can take from some seconds to minutes.
The procedure can be aborted any me by inverter disable or cancellaon of the start
enable without sengs being changed.
During calibraon and aer the calibraon has been completed successfully, the blue LED
display is constantly on. As soon as the idencaon has been executed and the device is
deacvated, the LED changes to a blinking mode.
Aer compleon, a renewed start command is required to start the motor.
Required steps
Opmizaon with engineering tool (e. g. »EASY Starter«):
1.
Go to the "Sengs" tab and navigate to the parameterizaon dialog "Advanced motor
seng".
2.
Pr
ess the Energized buon under "motor calibraon".
3.
F
ollow the instrucons of the engineering tool.
Opmizaon with keypad:
1.
Request automac idencaon: Set 0x2822:004 (P327.04) = "1".
2.
Issue the start command to start the procedure.
3.
The motor
calibraon is performed.
4.
Aer
compleon, issue the start command again.
In order to achieve the most
opmum behavior for the user, the parameters listed below can
be used to inuence the motor idencaon.
