8. Ensure that clearance (A) between draper (B) and
cutterbar (C) is 1–3 mm (0.04–0.12 in.).

9. Measure the clearance between the draper and the
cutterbar at deck supports (A). Depending on the header
size, there are between two and five supports per deck.
10. Reduce the tension on the draper. For instructions, refer to
5.7.3 Checking and Adjusting Draper Tension, page 177.

the deck support.
