4.14.8 The Electrical Cabinet Maintenance Schedule
Use the list that follows to do a maintenance inspection on the electrical cabinet.
Step Action Reference
1 Do a check that all wires and connectors are not damaged or
loose.
2 Do a check that all earth cables are secured to
the applicable earth posts.
3 Do a check that all the PCBs are secure.
4 Do a check that all screws are tight.
5 Clean the electrical cabinet.
8 Clean the ioniser bar. (See Section 4.13.5)
9 Do a check that the anti-static system operates
correctly. (See Section 4.4.2)
10 Do a check that the sidelays can be adjusted from maximum to minimum
wid
th.

11 Do a check that the sidelay tamper solenoid and
tamper mechanism operates
correctly.
12 Do a check that the A4 pinch drive operates correctly
. (See User Manual)
13 Clean the A4 pinch drive conveyor belts. (See Section 4.3.4.1)
14 Do a check that the paper stop mechanism operates correctly
.
15 Do a check that the bypass gate operates correctly. (See User Manual)
16 Do a check that there are no air leaks and that the air knife
control operates
correctly.
17 Do a check that all screws are tight.
18 Clean the gathering area.
