4.14.6 The Creaser Module Maintenance Schedule
Step Action Reference
1 Do a check that all wires and connectors are not damaged or loose.
2 Do a check that the creaser
drive belt is in a satisfactory condition and
tensioned correctly.
(See Section 4.5.10)
3 Do a check that the creaser
drive gears are in a satisfactory condition and
that the gear-play is set correctly.
(See Section 4.5.11)
4 Do a check that the creaser rollers are in
a satisfactory condition.
5 Clean the creaser rollers.
6 Do a check that the creaser roller gap
s are set correctly. (See Section 4.5.13)
7 Clean the edge-sensor set. (See Section 4.13.4)
8 Clean the creaser position sensor.
9 Do a check that the crease motor belt is in
a satisfactory condition and
tensioned correctly.

10 Do a check that the dynatilt motor
gear-play is set correctly. (See Section 4.5.15)
11 Do a check that the dynatilt home switch is set
correctly. (See Section 4.5.16)
12 Do a check that the anti-static brushes on
the crease blade-set are in a
satisfactory condition (replace the anti-static brushes if necessary).

13 Clean the crease blade-set and check that the blade
is in a satisfactory
condition.

19 Do a check that all the feed bin controls work correctly.
20 Do a check that all screws are tight.
21 Clean the suction feed bin.

2 Do a check that the drive chains, sprocket
s and tensioner bushes are not
worn (replace both the drive chain and sprockets if the sprockets are worn).
3 Select Cleaning Mode and lubricate all of the drive
chains and sprockets
(Molykote MKLn chain grease is recommended).

4 Do a check that all the nylon gears are in
a satisfactory condition.
5 Do a continuity test on all of the earth plates, tabs and shafts.
6 Do a check that all the conveyor wheels are
in satisfactory condition.
7 Select Cleaning Mode and clean the conveyor wheels. (See Section 4.13.2)
