7.7.2 Update the Software through the Ethernet Connection
The next procedure describes how to update the software through the Ethernet
connection. A TFTP Server is needed to do the software update. Make sure that the
computer with the TFTP Server is connected correctly to the MFC before you start this
procedure.
Make sure the TFTP server is configured to transmit and
receive. Some versions of
TFTP server software only receive files as a default. Change this setting in the
configurations for the program. Configure the TFTP Server to look for the MFC
software in the correct folder on the computer.
