7. Electrical and Control System - GUI CPU Error Beeps
7.9 GUI CPU Error Beeps
The GUI CPU will emit an audible code if a firmware error occurs during boot-up. The
codes can be emitted sequentially, should more than one error occur.
Key:

= short beep

Error Codes:

Normal - start-up countdown.

Flash memory successfully programmed.
▬ ▬ ▬
The program in the flash memory is not recognised.
▬ ▬ ●
The decompression of the software has failed.
▬ ●
There is a problem with the machine setting files
(which store information about network settings, etc)
or the device that stores them.
●●●
There is a problem with the job memory files or the
device that store them.
