8.2 Unpack the MFC
The MFC is a high machine and the MFC shipping pallet has been designed to move
the MFC safely in a horizontal position. When you unpack the MFC you must lift the
machine to a vertical position before it can be installed.
Tools:

• Knife
• Spanner: 13mm
• Rachet and socket: 13mm.
Step Action Information
1 Remove the outer packaging
material from the MFC shipping
pallet.
• Cardboard carton
• Polythene sheet
• Packing foam.
2 Remove the accessories kit from
inside of the gathering
area.
3 Remove the shipping bolts.

8.2.1 Unload the MFC

Warning: The MFC is heavy. It is necessary for three people to unpack the MFC.
Always follow good health and safety procedures when you lift.
Step Action Information
1 Stand on the two sides of the MFC These persons will need to lift the
MF
C.
2 Stand in front of the gathering area
base of the MFC.
This person will need to guide the
MFC of
f the pallet when it is lifted.
3 Hold the two ends of the support
bar and
hold the gathering area
base.
4 Lift the MFC and move it towards
the gathering area end of the p
allet
until the foot brackets are above
the floor.
5 Lower the gathering area base on
to
the floor and make it stable.
6 Lift the MFC and let it pivot on the
gathering area ba
se until it is fully
vertical and supported on the
transport wheels.
