Morgana DocuMaster MFC - Service Manual 75
4. Service Procedures - Machine Adjustments and Calibration
When the MFC operates the crease blade is moved against the paper, which is
pressed into the crease matrix to form an even crease across the width of the sheet. To
form an even crease, the crease blade and the crease matrix must be aligned correctly.
Note: By default, the crease blade-set is installed in the MFC
with the crease blade connected to the power links and the
crease matrix connected to the blade adjustment cams.

Crease a sheet of paper in the MFC and remove it from the gathering area.
(2) Examine the crease at both sides of the sheet. (The crease must form an even ‘V’
shape as shown (see Figure 4.46)).
(3) If the crease is not even, the crease blade-set alignment must be adjusted (see
Section 4.5.14.2).
