15 KOMPLETE KONTROL Integration
MASCHINE supports the KOMPLETE KONTROL S-SERIES keyboards from Native Instruments.
The KOMPLETE KONTROL S-SERIES keyboards are tightly integrated into the MASCHINE
workflows. From your KOMPLETE KONTROL S-SERIES keyboard you can do the following in
MASCHINE:
▪ Switch the focus of your keyboard to/from any MASCHINE instance: ↑15.1, Switching the
Keyboard Focus to/from a MASCHINE Instance.
▪ Control the transport: ↑15.2, Controlling the Transport in MASCHINE.
▪ Navigate and control your Sounds in any Group: ↑15.3, Navigating and Controlling Your
Sounds within a Group.
▪ Browse and load files from your MASCHINE Library: ↑15.4, Browsing Your MASCHINE Li-
brary.
▪ Control the Perform features: ↑15.5, Using the Perform Features.
▪ Use both Touch Strips: ↑15.6, Using the Touch Strips.
▪ Record modulation: ↑15.7, Recording Modulation from Your Keyboard.
In addition, you can adjusts settings for your keyboard via MASCHINE’s Preferences panel, as
described in section ↑15.8, Adjusting the Settings for Your Keyboard in the MASCHINE Prefer-
ences.
Some of these features are similar to those available in the KOMPLETE KONTROL appli-
cation. However keep in mind that these features are distinct. For more information on
how to use your KOMPLETE KONTROL S-SERIES keyboard with KOMPLETE KONTROL,
please refer to the KOMPLETE KONTROL Manual.
