Exceptional Setup
This section explains how to setup with the exceptional way, in case your system features any Mass storage devices, for
instance. The detailed information is provided by the manual of the Mass storage device.
Do as follows to install or re-install the OS when the system has new mass storage device not to be supported by
EXPRESSBUILDER.
1. Read the manual supplied with the mass storage device before setting the server.
2. If the mass storage device is a disk array controller, configure the RAID system before running the
EXPRESSBUILDER.
3. Boot the system from the EXPRESSBUILDER CD-ROM.
4. (a) When the dialog of Disk array configuration appears, check "Use Existing Array".
(b) Check "Apply OEM-FD for Mass storage device".
5. Copy the driver for the mass storage device in the ExpressSetup.
Insert the floppy disk attached the mass storage device into the floppy disk drive.
Continue the ExpressSetup as prompted in the on-screen messages.
