Adaptec Storage Manager™
Adaptec Storage Manager™ (hereinafter abbreviated to ASM) is a management utility for the HostRAID system and
provides RAID functions through the SATA interface in your server. You can use the following functions for HostRAID
by installing ASM in your system.
Features
Creating disks at a level of RAID0 or RAID1
Making a consistency check on redundant disk arrays
Recording HostRAID events into the event log
Before attempting to operate ASM, read the "Adaptec Storage Manager™ User's Guide" included in
EXPRESSBUILDER CD-ROM. The manual explains the ASM installation procedure and notes on operating ASM.
Web-based Promise Array Manager
Web-based Promise Array Manager is a RAID management utility for monitoring serial ATA RAID controller.
