15.2.2 MODCOD Definitions S2 Extensions
S2 Extensions comprises 87 MODCODs, optimized for linear and non-linear channels. Although the
MODCODs might use the same code/name as in DVB-S2, they are not interchangeable.
For linear channel applications, Newtec Cy N.V. has developed specific modulation
schemes (constellation mappings).
The modulation schemes designed for linear channels are indicated with L.
