How to Manage the Device M6100 Broadcast Satellite Modulator
Functional Blocks Description
Device Management Functional block that allows to manage, configure and monitor
the device management parameters.
For Example:
• Configure the management interfaces;
• Manage the interface link redundancy;
• Manage the device redundancy
• Gather all device specific info such as, Serial number,
Software version, ...
ASI Functional block that allows to configure and monitor the ASI
input interfaces.
MPE Functional block that allows to configure and monitor the Multi
protocol Encapsulation.
This protocol makes it possible to transmit a typically limited
amount of data along with the video transport stream.
BBF over IP In Functional block that allows to configure and monitor the
incoming traffic. (Typically received from an AZ810 Stream
Aggregator).
TS MUX Functional block that allows to configure and monitor the:
• Rate Adapter;
• NIT Carrier ID;
• TS Analyser;
• BISS Scrambling.
Modulator Functional block that allows to configure and monitor the
modulation of the traffic.
For example:
• Mode selection, DVB-S, DVB-S2 or S2-Extensions;
• Transmit (on/off);
• Output Frequency;
• …..
Note that it is possible to control the Transmit
(Off/On) from the overview tab.
