Flow Display Data Section 8-3
3. Click the Message Tab and enter the messages to display.
4. Set the character string.
5. Click the OK Button to return to the Flow Display Dialog Box.
6. Click the OK Button to return to the base screen.
7. Transfer the flow display file to the PT. When the PT is turned ON, the mes-
sage “Operating!” will appear in the flow display.
Up to 128 1*1 characters can be
used in a message.

Language 1: Running!
Note The message will be dis-
played in the top pane
when the cursor is on the
message.
Click the Char. Type Button.
Make the characters bold and
set the background color.
Character Style:
Color:
Bold
Character: Black
Background: Light blue
Note Increase the character
size to make the flow dis-
play larger.
Precaution for Correct Operation
The appearance of flow displays are different for each PT model.
The NV3W moves 8 dots a time and the NV4W and NV3Q moves 32 dots at a
time.
Additional Information
If multiple display conditions are formed at the same time, the message with the
lowest number will be displayed.
The size of the flow display depends on the size of the characters.
Note The character size can be changed in Character Attributes.
The following two settings must be changed to delete flow display data that has
been transferred to the PT.
1. Set the number of messages on the Basic Setup Tab Page of the flow display
to 0.
2. Transfer data: Select the All Data and Transfer Data After Clear NV Screens
Options and transfer the data.
