9-2-3 Precautions on Using SD Memory Cards
Data stored on an SD memory card may be damaged in the following ways.
OMRON is not responsible for the loss of data stored on SD memory cards.
• When the user or a third party mishandles the SD memory card
Precaution for Correct Operation
• To save files from NV-Designer to an SD memory card, select Transfer from the
PT Menu. When you select Transfer from the PT Menu, NV-Designer format
data is converted to NV format data. Simply copying data from NV-Designer to
the SD memory card will prevent the data from being used on the NV.
• Do not use the SD memory card to store data that was not created with NV-
Designer.
• Up to 16 items of data can be saved to a memory card.
• Copying using an SD memory card cannot be performed between different
types and different models of PT, such as between a monochrome NV3Q and a
color NV3Q. Copying can be performed only between the same type of NV3Q
or NV4W.
Precaution for Correct Operation
SD memory cards with capacities larger than 2G cannot be used.
The applicable memory capacity is 32 MB to 1 GB for system program version
1.0@ of the NV3Q.
