9-1-1 Setting Communications Conditions
1,2,3... 1. Select Transfer from the PT Menu. The Data Transfer Dialog Box will be
displayed. Click the Communication Setting Button at the upper right of the
dialog box.
2. The Communications Parameters Dialog Box will be displayed. Set the
communications parameters between the NV and PLC.

Note Set the COM port that will be used on the computer in advance using the Win-
dows Device Manager or other utility. Communications will not be possible if
Port Number Displays the COM ports to which a connection can be made
(all of the COM ports detected by Windows).
The default is the lowest-numbered COM port.
Time-Out 1 to 10, 15, 20, 25, 30, 35, 40, 45, 50, 55, or 60 s
Default is 5 s.
