*1 If displaying battery errors is not enabled, it will not be displayed.
*2 The Battery Backup Error Flag and Battery Low Flag will function even if
the display for a discharged battery is disabled.
6-2-4 Communication Parameters Tab Page
Sets the serial communications settings between the PT and PLC.
Note Communications parameters can be set from the Port Screen in the Setting
Mode of the PT System Menu.

Key Press Sound Dis-
able Bit
When turned ON, disables the key press sound so that
there is no sound when the PT touch panel is touched even
if the key press sound is enabled in the NV Configuration
from the NV-Designer.
Data Entry Flag This bit will be ON while data is being entered and will turn
OFF when data entry has been completed. (This bit is
effective only when a keyboard is being used.)
Login Screen Flag This bit will be ON while the login screen is being displayed
and will turn OFF when it has closed.
Password Change
Screen Flag
This bit will be ON while the password change screen or
password management screen is being displayed and will
turn OFF when the screen has closed.
Battery Backup Error
Flag
This bit will be ON if clock data or PLC memory holding
data held in the SRAM (built-in RAM) are not backed up
properly. (This bit will also be ON if SRAM is not backed up
by the battery.

Battery Low Flag This bit will turn ON when the battery charge becomes low.
Replace the battery within a week after this bit turns ON.
