3-2-6 Base Screens
Base screens are essentially the same size as the screens displayed on the
PT.
(You can zoom the screen display in and out.)
Character strings and parts are positioned on the screen to create a base
screen.
Opening a Base Screen
Double-click a number in the number column in the Screen Manager (or
select the number and click the Open Button) to open a base screen.
Parts of Base Screens
The screen number will be displayed on the top left of the base screen, and
the project name will be displayed on the right of “Base Screen.
The backlight color is displayed on the top left of the base screen.
Closing a Base Screen
Click the Close Button in the title bar to close the base screen.
If anything has been created on the base screen, the base screen will be reg-
istered in the Screen Manager when the base screen is closed.
If nothing has been created on the base screen, the base screen will simply
close.
To close multiple screens at once, select Window – Close All from the Menu
Bar.

click the Open Button.
Precaution for Correct Operation
1. The base screen will not be saved even it is registered in the Screen Manager.
To save the base screen, select Save from the File Menu and save the entire
project.
2. If the base screen is changed and it is closed, there will be no warning mes-
sage asking whether you want to save it before closing.
