4-2-8 Setting Up PLC Communications
The communications settings must be changed in the PLC so that it can com-
municate with the PT. In this section, an NV3Q PT and a CP-series PLC are
used as an example.
1,2,3... 1. Start the CX-Programmer.
2. Make the following settings on the Serial Port 1 Tab Page for the CP1E and
the Serial Port Tab Page for other PLCs in the PLC Setup.
Communications setting: User settings
Baud rate: 9,600 bps
Parameters: 7, 1, E
Host link No.: 0
3. Transfer the PLC Setup from the CX-Programmer to the PLC.
