Buffer Maintenance
Perform these buffer maintenance activities daily.
Note:
All routine maintenance must be performed with the system logged off.
Required Tools
l Denatured alcohol
l Polycarbonate cover cleaner (902-F)
l Clean cloths
l Shop air
Cleaning Covers and Clearing the Paper Path
1. Wipe down the top buffer covers with PB approved cleaner (polycarbonate cover cleaner, 902-F).
2. Open the top buffer covers.
3. Use low pressure shop air to blow dust and debris out of the paper path and remove any toner
buildup on the deck.
4. Close the buffer covers.
