End Clearance
End clearance is the difference between the dimension of the largest insert and the length of the
envelope when measured with all inserts in the envelope.
A .75" (19.1 mm) end clearance is recommended to achieve maximum throughput for all categories.
Experience has shown that end clearance requirements increase with the height of the collation and / or
with the number of pages comprising the input document.
