Connection to the Postage and E-Services Servers
To add postage or access myEquipment E-Services, the Mailing System can use the
following network connections:
• An Internet access through a high speed LAN (Local Area Network).
First use the procedure below to select the connection, then configure the connection.
LAN settings can only be performed if the system was actually
connected to the LAN at power-up.

How to Set the Postage/E-Services Connection
To set the Postage/E-Services connection:
1. As supervisor (see How to Log in as Supervisor on page 134):
Press and select the path: Communication settings Postal Server
Access
The Postal Server Access screen is displayed.
If you did not have the LAN cable plugged into the system, you will
get a warning message.
Please follow the message: check your cable connections and
press OK.
2. To use:
- The LAN, select LAN and press [OK].
