4. Select [User Administrator Authentication], [Machine Administrator Authentication],
[Network Administrator Authentication], or [File Administrator Authentication], and then
Click [OK].
5. Click [Logout].
6. Close Web Image Monitor.
Registering the Administrator
If administrator authentication has been specified, we recommend only one person take each administrator
role.
The sharing of administrator tasks eases the burden on individual administrators while also limiting
unauthorized operation by a single administrator. You can register up to four login user names
(Administrators 1-4) to which you can grant administrator privileges.
Administrator authentication can also be specified via Web Image Monitor. For details, see Web Image
Monitor Help.
If administrator authentication has already been specified, log in using a registered administrator name
and password.
For details about logging in and out with administrator authentication, see p.22 "Using Web Image
Monitor to Configure Administrator Authentication".
1. Log in to Web Image Monitor as an administrator.
2. Click [Configuration] in the Menu area.
3. Click [Program/Change Administrator] in the "Device Settings" category.
4. Select the administrator type and administrator number.
5. Enter the [Login User Name] of the selected administrator number.
6. Click [Change] in the "Login Password" area.
7. Enter the password.
8. Re-enter the same password, and then click [OK].
9. Click [Change] in the "Encryption Password" area.
10. Enter the password.
11. Re-enter the same password, and then click [OK].
12. Click [OK].
13. Click [Logout].
14. Close Web Image Monitor.
