End Of Day
End of Day operations allow employees with the proper authority level setting to access and generate End
Of Day reports. Generating an EOD report will clear the current report totals on the terminal. Report totals
are not deleted, only the current totals are cleared. The EOD reports can be generated multiple times in a
day to accommodate shift reporting. Report totals are still accessible from the Report Mode as explained on page
158 in this manual.
Options and Filters are available to Print and/or E-mail the Financial, PLU, Group, Period, Employee, TIP and
Product Mix Reports for all employees or select specific reports for specified employees. It is not necessary to print
reports when the processing the EOD; Report totals are not deleted, only the current totals are cleared.
If desired, an EOD function key can be assigned to an MLU or FLU. The EOD key may be assigned to the real
keyboard on the SAP-630 terminal as well.
If reports are selected to E-Mail, they will be sent to the designated eMail addresses as setup in the Program
Mode\Options\Options\Report Option programming and the EOD will be cleared. No filters or option selections
will be available.
CASH Declaration can also be performed from End Of Day screen. This operates the same as the described in the
Report Mode \ Cash Declaration example.
1. From the main selection menu, press the ‘END OF DAY’ icon (Z-position on the SAP-630 & SAP-530);
The default End Of Day screen displays.
2. Select the Filters and Options as desired for the report; Press the icon to ‘SHOW’ the End of Day
report summary.
