Integrated Payment – EMV
Introduction
Integrated Payment operations on the Sam4POS utilize the latest EMV capable Datacap equipment for seamless
credit card processing through the terminal.
EMV cards are embedded with a microprocessor or smart chip that interacts with the merchant’s point-of-sale
device to make sure that the payment card is valid and with the use of a PIN that it belongs to the person using the
card.
Consult with your installing dealer for the specific equipment appropriate for your application needs and associated
program setup.
The integrated payment operations described in this guide are shown using a Datacap device with the Verifone
vx805 Pin-Pad.
