Figure 6-20 illustrates what happens when Active Disable is engaged. As soon as
the drive receives the disable comm and, the velocity comm and is ram ped down
to zero, and only then is the drive disabled.

Figure 6-21 shows the effect of DISSPEED and DI STI ME. In this exam ple,
DISSPEED is set to 1000, and DI STIME is set to 1 ms. Aft er the m ot or speed
rem ains below 1000 for 100 consecutive background cycle, and the time defined
by DISTIME elapses, the drive is disabled and the motor coasts to a stop.
I n this exam ple, approximat ely 110 m s elapse from the t im e the m otor velocit y
goes below 1000 and the time the drive is disabled.
