Example EQI1325:
Singleturn proportion of EnDat protocol = 13 bits
P148.01 = 5 bits ( 2^5 = resolution of the
incremental tracks, number of pulses per
revolution)
Resolution ratio = 2^13 / 2^5 = 256
The bit must be set because the resolution ratio
is not equal to 4.
From V2.40 onwards the bit is set automatically.
